Host and Help: Change a Child’s Life with Friends over Dinner

• Host a family gathering during the holidays and instead of accepting gifts inform them about Coptic Orphans. Give them an opportunity to sponsor a child and/or give a donation.

• Hat & Tea Party- have guest wear unique hats, and join you for Tea. A small prize can be given to the “Best Hat”.

• Pamper Party- have a local beauty/cosmetic consultant come over for an evening of beauty. Ask for a donation of products for prizes.

• Raffle Gift baskets- Ask local merchants to donate items for gift baskets, and raffle them off during the party.

• Custom Jewelry-Making Party- Ask local craft/bead shops to donate materials, and have guests make their own jewelry.

• Sports Party- this is the perfect way to invite friends over to watch a sporting event and then give them information on the cause at the end. (The food can simply be chips, dip, and soft drinks).

• Incorporate a Sponsorship Party into your next Church ministry, PTA, Book Club, or Sororiety meeting.

• Wine tasting event with snacks

• A film night with popcorn and a movie (preferably one related to the nature of the cause).

• A morning coffee & cake party

We have other resources to help you, and can also send a Coptic Orphans representative to speak for you if you are hosting a large event.
