Partnerships
Effective poverty alleviation programs
can not be carried out without partnerships. We are
partnering with over 40 diocese, schools, and NGO's
(Non-Governmental Organizations) to improve the lives
of children.

His Holiness Pope Shenouda
August 14, 2003 was a very special
day for the staff of Coptic Orphans. His Holiness
Pope Shenouda III took time out of his busy schedule
to meet with the staff during his visit to Washington
DC. He was particularly impressed with the photo of
Manga, a child who can now read,
thanks to the hard
work of the Coptic Orphans Reps in Egypt.
By
the Grace of God, Coptic Orphans had the honor
of meeting with H.H. POPE SHENOUDA III for the first
time, at His residency in Cedar Grove, NJ on Wednesday,
August 21, 2002. His Holiness gave Coptic Orphans
his blessings and spoke to us about how we are “saving
God’s children.” He added, “we appreciate very much
what you are doing. Such persons are in great need.” In
quoting the midnight praises, H.H. stated to “remember
those who have no one to remember them”.

Bishop Youannes Visits Coptic Orphans
Coptic
Orphans welcomed a very special guest, H.G. Bishop
Youannes, to our home office in Washington DC on
Monday, June 3, 2002. His Grace was extremely impressed
with our organization and deemed CO "the authority
on orphans in Egypt". We would like to thank Anba
Youannes for blessing us, supporting us, and praying
for the success of our mission to combat poverty
among Copts in Egypt.
