On July 7, Coptic Orphans public relations
associates Dina Daniel and Nathan Hollenbeck
presented the plight of Egyptian children to an Arabic
Christian conference in Lancaster , PA. The conference
gathered around one hundred participants from various
congregations including the Arabic Bible Church in
Rockville , MD , the Arabic Christian Church in PA,
and from three Coptic Orthodox parishes.
Many pledged to get involved by spreading
the word in their congregations, through house parties,
and other avenues. A large percentage of the conference
attendees showed their support for the children in
Egypt by wearing Coptic
Orphans T-shirts, including the conference organizer,
Pastor Moussa. When Dina stood up to speak at the
evening session, she looked out at a sea of shirts
featuring the Coptic Orphans logo and the exhortation, “Remember
those who have no one to remember them.”
